“All over the country, communities and municipalities are implementing ground-breaking projects that leverage rainwater runoff and green infrastructure techniques to build innovative parks and greenspaces. The “what”, “how”, “why” and “where” of green infrastructure is the focus of Park Pride’s 13th Annual Parks & Greenspace Conference on March 31st, 2014, titled Pipes to Parks: Creating Greenspaces with Rainwater. Submissions are being accepted for keynote speakers, breakout session presentations, and green infrastructure tours within Atlanta and the southeast, though tours beyond the southeast may be considered. For all information regarding proposal requirements and deadlines, download the Call for Presentations or visit the Park Pride web site. General registration for the conference will open in November, 2013.”
